Overview

This is a translation of Shaykh Mar‘i b. Yusuf’s book on the issue of the coming of Imam Mahdi, the descendant of the Prophet Muhammad who, together with Jesus Christ, would rid the world of error, injustice, and tyranny, on the Day of Resurrection.

Authorship

This is an undated work by Shaykh Daud b. ‘Abd Allah al-Fatani. Since this text focuses on eschatology, it seems likely to have been composed in the late 1800s or early 1810s during which time the author composed a number of related works.
