Overview

This is a work on eschatology and is a translation of al-Mirghani’s work, the latter serving as a teacher of Shaykh Daud Fatani.

Authorship

Completed “hari Khamis, 8 Rabi al-akhir 1226 AH” [9 Apr 1811], by Shaykh Daud ibn ‘Abd Allah al-Fatani, in Mecca.

Manuscripts

This book was very rarely copied. In what few copies of this text have survived, it sometimes appears in manuscript compilations including Shaykh Daud Fatani’s works Al-Bahja al-Mardiyya fi ‘Udhr Takhalluf al-Ma’mum ‘an al-Imam, Bulugh al-Maram fi Kayfiyyat Muqaranat Takbirat al-Ihram, Kitab Sembahyang Jum‘a, and works by other authors. In later years, it was often included in printed editions with another of his works, titled Jam‘ al-Fawaid wa Jawahir al-Qalaid.
