Biographical Details: b. Kampung Laut, Tumpat, Kelantan. d. 1929. He studied in Kelantan, then Patani, and finally Mecca. After returning from Mecca, he settled in Kedah, where he opened a pondok in Kampung Kelonghoi, which is near Kuala Kedah. He taught there until his death.
