Biographical Details: b. c. 1860, Kampung Surau Kuala Badang. His mother was named Che Fatimah and was from Pasir Pekan, Kelantan. His father was known popularly as Che Sudin. d. 1921-3, c. age 60, in Kubor Tok Panjang, Kuala Badang. He studied in Mecca for some years, before returning and teaching in Perlis.
