Biographical Details: d. 1938, Mecca. He first went to Patani to study at a pondok with Tuan Minal (whose daughter he later married) and thereafter went for further study at a pondok in Kedah and finally Pulau Pinang. Then he went to Mecca to continue his education. He taught in Bait al-Maqdis and later returned and taught in Pulau Bidan. He also founded Pondok Kampung Bandar.
