Biographical Details: b. c. 1870. in Guar Petai, Seberang Perai. He taught in Kampung Pancor, Kemumin. d. malam Sabtu, 10 Dhu’l Hijja 1361/1942. He first studied in Kedah and Perlis, then went to some of the chief Patani pondok, before concluding his studies in Kelantan (including some teachers at Masjid Besar in Kota Bharu).
